Job Description :	Our Client is seeking a Credit Manager who will work on the credit submissions on their own book and also collate credit proposals ready for the funders. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Reporting to the Sales Director you will be responsible for assessing all credit proposals for a sales team of 7 people operating in the company?s core markets which are Broadcast/Media, Sound & Lighting, Audio Visual and IT software/hardware. Proposals will range in size from 5k through to multi-million pound deals. Analyse the financial information such as latest filed accounts, management accounts and bank statements and prepare sufficient commentary around the figures, the customer, and rationale for purchase and equipment depreciation profile. Decide from our panel of funders who the deal is best suited to and or prepare the deal to be viewed by the Sales Director & Managing Director to consider funding on our own book. To Liaise with the customer to ask any questions surrounding the financial information that you have been provided, rationale for purchase etc. Liaise with the sales team to update them on the progress of the proposal and communicate the conditions of the acceptance/decline. Liaise with the broker representative/underwriters within our panel of banks to discuss the proposal, request changes, challenge decisions and provide feedback on outstanding acceptances. Monitor KPI?s given by our funders to ensure that we are meeting the required KPI?s for credit proposals, acceptances/declines and acceptances converted. Ensure that the sales team are fully aware of funder?s requirements/changes in credit policy so they can be aware of this when sending a proposal to you for consideration. Participate in weekly sales meetings to provide updates on proposals. Participate in meetings with funders to review performance with regards to KPI?s and expected business volumes. Provide input to the Sales Director & Managing Director on own book credit policy and assist with developing this further. PERSON SPECIFICATION: The candidate should have a good knowledge of the asset finance sector. Understanding and ability to read and understand accounts are essential with the ability to review key ratios such as gearing and interest cover where required. A proven track record in a credit position or a role that required a detailed credit analysis is required. We are keen to receive applications from candidates with proven relevant experience from the Leasing and Asset Finance industry only.
