Synopsis: Ted arrives home from work with good news about his job. His wife, Joanna, informs him that she is leaving him and will not be take their son with her.

Character Breakdowns:

• TED Kramer (late 20s to early 40s): A young successful professional who works at an advertising agency. His wife is Joanna Kramer and they have a young son named, Billy. He loves his wife and his son very much but he is ambitious in his career, which often distracts him from other parts of his life.
• JOANNA Kramer (late 20s to early 40s): The wife of Ted and the mother of Billy. She had a career before marrying Ted but chose to leave her job after her and Ted decided to start a family. During the day she stays home and works on hobbies or shops for the family. When Billy is home from school she cares for him.

Crew Positions Needed:

• Director of Photography/camera operator: Someone with a creative eye who has a solid knowledge of camera operation and a proficient knowledge of cinematography. I look forward to collaborating with a passionate DP. Having your own camera is strongly preferred.

Special Notes for Potential Cast/Crew: Student film for University of Texas at Austin. RTF program Director?s Workshop. You will work with other actors and receive feedback from other up-and-coming directors. This is a great chance to hone your craft through a collaborative process. The final product will be a well-produced and well-directed scene for your your reel.
