Do you have what it takes to help Sandvik Construction achieve long-term profitable market share growth? Can you support the global Sandvik Construction team to develop business with our Global Accounts?

Sandvik Construction (SC) is a business area within the Sandvik Group providing solutions for virtually any construction industry application, encompassing such diverse businesses as surface rock quarrying, tunneling, excavation, demolition, road building, recycling and civil engineering.

We are now looking for a Global Account Manager. The location for this position is flexible, but Stockholm, Sweden is preferred.

Key performance areas
In the role of Global Account Manager you will have overall responsibility for working with the SC team to develop our relationships and business with Global Accounts. This includes understanding their business and development needs and supporting our local sales and service teams to increase our business with them locally. You will work with the SC team, both front line sales and service and back line support, to coordinate and support activities to increase our overall Global Account customer satisfaction, see that our complete product offering and capabilities are presented, and help understand where and how to capture business opportunities and better serve these accounts? needs. This is a global coordination and relationship development role; the actual sales and service activities happen at local level.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading negotiation of global frame agreements
- Coordinating the focus on, and development of, new global
account HQ relationships
- Being the global point of contact for international accounts
- Supporting and coordinating key account delegation
visits/events (for example Key Account customer
events, customer visits, customer training, etc.)
- Coordinating with local Account Managers regarding activities
related to global accounts
- Being a link between global customer HQ and local
operations (e.g., follow-up on important leads and
communication concerning expansion plans, purchasing
preferences, qualified suppliers, events, training, trouble
shooting, understanding priorities/needs, introducing
competencies and new solutions, etc.)

You will report to the Construction Business Development department.

Your profile
You hold a degree in marketing, sales, finance or technology and have experience from similar operations, including work in Marketing and Sales and Key Account Management. Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, in English are required. A proven track record for working with account development is expected, as is a solid understanding of and experience from the construction business.

You are an initiator, flexible and an outgoing person with a holistic view. To be successful in this position you have to be strategic, as well as practical. You have good interpersonal skills and must enjoy working within teams and networks, as well as independently.
